I started doing hair because I have an artistic spirit and needed a flexible schedule as a single mom. Now, my son is grown, but I have such passion for this industry that I work behind the chair as well as helping other stylists create strong skills and a sustainable income.
Q: What is the one piece of hair advice you think everyone should follow?
A: Home care for your hair is as, if not more important than a great cut or color.
Q: What is your favorite type of service to perform, why?
A: I love doing transformations using cutting skills, color, and/or extensions to help my clients realize the hair of their dreams!
Q: What is your desert island hair product? One you can never survive without, why?
A: Davines. “This is an invisible dry shampoo” because it helps the hair feel clean between washes!
Q: What is your favorite ‘go to’ hair product recommendation, why?
A: A great shampoo and conditioner is worth the splurge for healthy hair! I love the Davines OI line for dehydrated hair that needs lightweight moisture.
Q: Where could someone find you when you are not at work?
A: If not in the salon, I’m either at home, the gym, church, or teaching stylists all over AZ.
Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Rowdy Hair?
A: The culture, without a doubt. This salon values total client experience, and we all support each other! Positivity and good vibes.
