Q: What got you into the beauty industry?

A: When I was a little girl I used to love todo my grandma and Great Aunt Dot’s hair. They would sit at the kitchen table and let me roll their hair in pin curls and velcro rollers. Then once it dried I would style it for them. They always told me that I should be a beautician when I was older.

Q: What other occupation would you choose if you weren’t a hair stylist?

A: I would continue my career in cosmetology as an educator of products and brands that I am passionate about.

Q: What’s your best hair advice?

A: As a stylist, I am here to help support you to achieve the look and style you want now and in the future. Don’t ever hesitate to ask questions about how to care for your hair, style it, share any concerns that you are having and what your long-term goals are. We area team!

Q: If you could only use one (Davines/Pureology) product for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

A: Davines Liquid Spell. I love this product because it helps strengthen the hair. It is especially helpful for clients who have lightened hair. On top of that it leaves the hair really soft, and shiny with a gorgeous bounce to it making it the perfect product for a blowout.

Q: Where are you from originally?

A: I am originally from a really small town called Norton Shores along Lake Michigan.

Q: If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do?

A: I would buy a big piece of property to build a home and start a dog sanctuary for homeless dogs.

Q: Do you have a favorite motto you live by?

A: Time is the most precious gift we have. – Iyabo Ojikutu

Q: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

A: I would love to go to Spain! It looks beautiful and the culture has always been appealing. Not to mention the food. The neighboring countries would be incredible to adventure to as well. My mother has family there that I would like to meet and spend time with.
